spirit is a series that explores the sanctity of my faith: my relationship between my rebellion and also my dependency on GOD.

humanity begins with its brokenness and travels through the cosmos seeking wholeness until it finds the redemptive work of JESUS CHRIST on the cross.
 
this series uses materials such as gouache, watercolors, and ink combined with minimal colors to achieve maximum contrast.

theses paintings are experimental and intentionally abstracted. this is so it reflects our lives which continuously travel between our frailty and the power of Gods divinity. that contrast allows us to acknowledge the supernatural while living in the flesh.
